Our client Corktour, was chosen as one of 17 startups to represent Portugal in international fairs in 2019 by the country’s promoter, Turismo de Portugal.

Amidst many other companies offering tours and tourism packs in Portugal, Corktour proved to be a relevant company with a differentiated service and offer.

This client is working with Sales Group from its beginning, so it’s a project to which Sales Group is closely linked to.
Sales group has worked with Corktour in:
– Creating an identity: the concept and image (with main and secondary logos, for each kind of experience), website, stationary, fairs material, promotion material (both paper and digital); making a signature – Experience Portugal; and structuring the offer and service design.

The creation of the company started with its owner love for both Alentejo region and SUP. Being a sports instructor and in love with SUP, he wanted to connect this sport to Cultural Tours. With this goal, Sales Group helped the client design and structure the offer according to each resource of the Alentejo region, his own passion and the expectation of customers, having in mind the creation of a differentiated offer – there are several companies doing tours in Alentejo, but none with such a differentiated offer (with high level partners) and with the possibility of doing SUP in the lakes and reservoirs of the region.

Partnerships with portuguese companies promotion organizations such as Turismo de Portugal and Visit Portugal, with hotels, tourism promoters, brands of wine, food, restaurants and well-known brands of SUP has proven to be a strong weapon in promoting the company and represents half the reservations/ sells in 2018.

With this recognition of Turismo de Portugal, Corktour expects that in 2019 its visibility will increase, as well as the volume of sales coming from partnerships.
