Yet again focus was aimed towards Norway during the international agency award ceremony “IDN Awards 2018”. For the third consecutive year, NXT/A2N received the special award “Agency of the Year” and could return to Oslo with a total of seven precious awards.
Last weekend of October, representatives from NXT/A2N attended the IDN Conference in Barceleona, in order to share ideas and knowledge with agencies from all-over the world. During the last evening of the conference there was a gala dinner with the yearly “IDN Awards” ceremony, where the best campaigns from the last year received awards. As the previous couple of years, the prestigious award ceremony ended with a success for NXT/A2N!
– It feels amazing to receive the “Agency of the Year” award for the third consecutive year, especially since it was such a high quality of the entries this year. It shows that our work has a high international standard and we are especially thrilled about receiving the Gold as well as the Silver award within the category “Customer Strategy”. It confirms that we offer our clients a total delivery that really creates results, says Agency Head Johan Ekman.
New categories and a record in number of entries
This year some of the categories were replaced with new ones, in order to better represent the possibilities that comes from the more complex media environment we live in today. The 28 employees at NXT/A2N have taken part in campaigns that cover all their expert areas of delivery; strategy, creative services, digital performance marketing, website production and graphic production.
Despite more demanding categories and fiercer competition this year, NXT/A2N could proudly return to Oslo with following seven awards:

Silver – «Fixed price fixes the sales» for Hedalm Anebyhus
Loyalty:
Silver – «Easter Crime quiz» for Byggtorget

Nordic dominance during the 2018-awards
IDN Awards 2018 was a confirmation that the Nordic countries are ahead in communication and marketing. Together with their partner agencies in Sweden and Finland, Norway managed a Nordic Grand Slam at the prestigious award ceremony.
From the total of 25 awards Norway (7), Sweden (6) and Finland (7) received an impressive 20 awards. As a result, NXT/A2N shared the award “Agency of the Year” with their friends from ROI Division in Stockholm and Suhde in Helsinki. Well deserved!
IDN – an international network for independent agencies.
InterDirect Network was founded in 1988 when several independent European agencies saw the need for a network where they could share their knowledge across borders. The instant success has made IDN a large and well-organized network of more than 1750 employees from all-over the world.
Even though the number of members is increasing, especially at the Asian market, the main goal of the network remains the same: Cooperation and exchange of knowledge throughout the network in order to better meet the needs of our clients. In 2013 NXT/A2N was invited to become Norway’s representative in the network and have been a proud member since then.
